FASTag is a reloadable, easy-to-use tag that allows for automated toll deduction and allows you to travel through the toll plaza without having to stop for a cash transaction. FASTag is linked to a prepaid account, which is debited for the relevant toll charge. After the tag account is activated, the tag is mounted to the vehicle’s windscreen using Radio-frequency Identification (RFID) technology.

Charges & Validity of FASTag

You must pay a one-time membership charge of Rs.100 plus GST, as well as a tag deposit cost that varies by vehicle class, to obtain a FASTag from Kotak Mahindra Bank. How to Apply for Kotak Mahindra Bank FASTag

You can apply for a FASTag through below channels:

Login to Mobile/Net Banking >> Apply Now >> Apply for FASTag

  • Go to Kotak Fastag website >> Click on Apply now >> Proceed to enter details

In case registration certificate is not issued, you can still get FASTag basis VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) also known as Chassis Number.

You can mention the Chassis number and apply for FASTag. However within 90 days of registration you will have to submit the RC copy to the Bank to update the Vehicle Number in your records.

All required documents for FASTag should be in the name of the owner of the vehicle. If car owner is not present at the time of application, driver will need to submit his photo ID proof.

You will receive a User ID and Password (PIN) through email and SMS once you have successfully finished the Kotak FASTag registration procedure.
