FASTag by Jammu and Kashmir Bank

The National Highways Authority of India launched Fastag exclusively for four or more wheeled vehicles so that toll taxes may be paid at toll plazas without having to change money or wait in huge lineups. Fastag’s electronic toll collecting technology allows a vehicle owner to pay the toll tax without having to stop at a toll plaza.

Fastag is attached to the windlass of your four-wheeler vehicle and employs Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology, which allows the Fastag on your vehicle to be scanned by toll plaza sensors. The toll payment will be debited from your Fastag account after that.

Charges & Validity of FASTag

As previously said, there is fierce competition among Fastag service providers, and all of them desired to add as many Fastag subscribers as possible. When a consumer is looking to get a new Fastag for his car, the first thing he wants to look at is the price, and he will only buy it from a bank or other platform that sells Fastag at the lowest price. J&K clearly recognised this requirement among Fastag users, and as a result, the Fastag has been charged at a very low rate. The following are the costs of acquiring Fastag from Jammu & Kashmir Bank:
