FASTag by Indian Bank

FASTag with Indian Bank is a prepaid tag that allows for automated toll deduction and allows you to travel through the toll plaza without having to stop for a cash transaction. FASTag is an RFID-enabled tool that is used to pay tolls electronically. It is attached to the vehicle’s windscreen and allows you to pass through the toll without having to wait and pay in cash.

Charges & Validity of FASTag

The Bank charges a one-time fee of Rs. 100, including of GST. The amount of the refundable security deposit is determined on the car type. Details are found in the Fees & Charges section.

Fastag issued by all banks, including Indian Bank Fastag, has a 5-year validity period. You must apply for a new Fastag after 5 years. In many circumstances, the validity term will expire before 5 years. Renew your FASTag soon if it is damaged. If the Fastag hasn’t been used in the past six months, it will be disabled and will need to be renewed. Also, absence of enough balance in a FASTag for a long period, may result in its cancellation. Fastag should be renewed in such circumstances.

How to Apply for Indian Bank FASTag

A Fastag is obtained from any of the banks listed on the NPCI’s (National Payments Corporation of India) official website. We’ll walk you through the process of applying for a Fastag from Indian Bank.

  • First and foremost, you must go to Indian Bank’s official website- https://www.indianbank.in/.
  • You can also go straight to the URL for applying for Fastag from Indian Bank at –https://etc11.ventureinfotek.com/AlhFastTagApplication/.
  • After you’ve opened the above URL, click the ‘Click Here’ button.
  • A new window will appear with an application form.
  • You have to now complete this application form.

  • Name, Gender, Date of Birth, Pan Number, Vehicle Number, Address, and other information is required, to be included in this application form.
  • You must also provide the data of your KYC papers and submit a scanned copy of your KYC documents as well as the vehicle’s RC.
  • Click the ‘Submit’ button after filling out the application form and submitting the relevant papers.
  • Then, depending on the kind of vehicle, you must pay the fee for applying for Fastag by Indian Bank.
  • Indian Bank will process your FASTag now and will send it to your location in a few business days.
