CUB provides FASTag, an RFID device that is attached to the windshield of your car and allows you to go through Electronic Toll Plazas on National Highways without paying a toll. Under the directives of the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) and the Indian Highways Management Company Ltd, the CUB FASTag programme is part of the National Electronic Toll Collection (NETC) effort brought out by National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) (IHMCL).

Vehicles with a CUB FASTag will be recognized at 690+ Electronic Toll Plazas across National Highways. You should use the available ETC lanes and pay the toll cost with your FASTag wallet, which will save you time and eliminate the need to carry cash for toll payments. You can use this on-the-fly cashless payment facility to save your precious time and cut down fuel expenses by avoiding snail paced queue’s at the tolls.

How to Apply for City Union Bank FASTag

  • Reach any of the CUB Branches.
  • Fill a simple Application form and affix Photograph of Vehicle owner.
  • Provide photo copies of KYC documents of customer & Registration Certificate of Vehicle.
  • Receive the FASTag and load it with money by paying from your CUB account.
  • FASTag shall be affixed on the windscreen of your vehicle by the representative of the bank.
  • Sail through the toll plaza without waiting in queue.

Customers are required to bring in the below mentioned original documents as well as a copy of it, to get the FASTag account created.

What is the procedure for recharging the City Union Bank FASTag?

You can quickly fund the account associated with the FASTag. The customer portal at FASTag Customer Portal may be used to recharge using Internet banking, credit card, or debit card. Simply log in to the site using the credentials sent to you through SMS and load funds to your FASTag account from any of the sources listed above.

  3. MoRTH/NHAI/IHMCL has launched 1033 helpline number for addressing FASTag complaints at toll plaza level. Customer can simply dial 1033 from Mobile/Landline for the following issues:
  • Stopped at the plaza for Tag blacklist reason even through Tag is not blacklisted.
  • Plaza not accepting FASTag
  • If the tag is not readable at the plaza
  • Plaza not supporting for monthly pass issuance
  • Any other applicable issue for FASTag.

What will happen to the account balance on lost tag (FASTag)?

Once you take a new FASTag account, we will transfer the balance to the new account from the lost FASTag.
