FASTag or Electronic Toll Collection is a solution for digital payment of Toll charges using FASTag. FASTag by Bank of Baroda is a device that employs Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology for making toll payments directly from the prepaid account linked to it. It is affixed on the windscreen of your vehicle and enables you to drive through toll plazas. Baroda FASTag has a validity of 5 years and after purchasing it, you only need to recharge/ top up the FASTag as per your requirement. Baroda FASTag offers near non-stop movement of vehicles through toll plazas and the convenience of cashless payment of toll fee with nation-wide interoperable Electronic Toll Collection Services.

Charges & Validity of FASTag

Baroda FASTag has a onetime Fee of Rs.84.74 + Goods & Service (GST) tax. The refundable security deposit depends on the vehicle type.

How to Apply for Bank of Baroda FASTag

  • Step 1: Visit https://fastag.bankofbaroda.com/Default.aspx?ReturnUrl=%2f
  • Step 2: Click on ‘Buy Online’ option present in the menu at top.
  • Step 3: Fill the required details in the application form, like account type, date of birth, etc.
  • Step 4: Upload all the documents required as identity proof and address proof.
  • Step 5: Click on the “I agree to the Terms and Conditions” check box, to tick it.
  • Step 6: Click on the ‘Next’ button.
  • Step 7: You will be redirected to a new window where you may be required to fill your GST (in case of FASTag for corporates) and vehicle details.
  • Step 8: Make payment.

Documents required for Bank of Baroda FASTag

You need to submit the following documents along with the application for Baroda FASTag:

  • Registration Certificate (RC) of the vehicle.
  • Passport size photograph of the vehicle owner.
  • KYC documents as per the category of the vehicle owner:

Bank of Baroda’s representative will provide you an application form, which you need fill and submit. All required documents for Baroda FASTag should be in the name of the owner of the vehicle. If the vehicle owner is not present at the time of application, driver will need to submit his photo ID proof. A valid driving license would be sufficient for Address & ID proof.

What is the procedure for recharging FASTag?

You may recharge your account by cash, at the Point of Sale (POS) locations or you may also recharge online through Debit/Credit card or through Net Banking.

Please note:

  1. *Goods & Service tax (GST) will be levied on all the prescribed fees & charges at the applicable rates.
  2. Convenience fee will be applicable for online recharge.
  3. Threshold amount is the minimum recharge amount to be done at the time of tag activation.
  4. Toll amount will be deducted as per the applicable amount, depending on the vehicle class and the plaza used. Charges mentioned above are subject to change.
  5. The above mentioned tag deposit rates would be applicable as per your vehicle class and will be refunded to you at the time of Baroda FASTag account closure.
